Harvey John Aikin

HARVEY JOHN AIKIN, JR., age 75 of Otter Lake, died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Harvey was born on October 13, 1944 to Harvey and Dorthia Aikin. He was a member of the Otter Lake American Legion. Harvey loved to cook and BBQ and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his wife, Marcia (Haughey) Aikin; children: Bill (Denise O'Dell) Aikin, John (Tracy Shaw) Aikin, and Aimee Aikin; grandchildren: Shaun Aikin and Summer Bentley; great grandson, Brantlee McCoy; brothers: Frank Aikin and Gordon(Cookie) Aikin; sisters: Ella Ives, Edith Goheen, and Dorothy Mason; brothers-in-law: Richard (Carol) Haughey and William (Jennifer) Haughey; sisters-in-law: Vicky Haughey and Barbara (David) Smith; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; best fishing partner, Claude Brown; and brothers-in-law: Robert Haughey and Bruce Haughey.
