Gretchen Marie Hartt

GRETCHEN MARIE HARTT of Otisville, age 92 died Sunday November 14, 2010 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville, with Rev. Bruce Malicoat officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. She was born on July 31, 1918 the daughter of Fred and Ruby (Nichols) Barden. She married Barton A. Hartt. Gretchen was a member of West Forest United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing the organ, fishing, cooking and cleaning. Surviving are her sons: Glenn B. (Doris) Hartt and Wayne Hartt; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons; a brother and sister-in-law: Joe and Irma Barden; half-sister: Carol Barden; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Barton A. Hartt, sister Beulah Kenney and her parents.
