Glenna Darlene Wright

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce that our incredible wife, mother and friend, Glenna Darlene Wright, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov 29, surrounded by family members.  She was born on July 26, 1954, to Byron William and Helen Lorene Hourtienne, and was raised and spent her entire life in Millington, Michigan.  She married the love of her life, Lynn Craig Wright, on February 24, 1973, and they had 2 beautiful children, Craig Randall and Crystal Celine Wright.  Together they embarked on a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.  She was a doer who was always on the go.  She took care of everything related to the farm, business, and family, and was certainly a force to be reckoned with.  Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of love and commitment.  Lynn and Glenn were truly soulmates.

As a mother, Glenna was a source of constant inspiration to Craig and Crystal. She showered them with affection, and the values of kindness and generosity that she held dear.  Her tenacity and determined care for her daughter, gave Crystal years and years of life.  She was completely dedicated to her children and wanted nothing more but their happiness.

Glenna's smile and laughter were contagious.  Her warm heart and caring nature endeared her to everyone she met.  She was an amazing, generous soul, and an unselfish human being who would do anything for you.  She loved to garden, travel, and spend time at the lake with her family.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, let us remember her not with tears of sorrow, but with hearts full of gratitude for having known such a loving and generous soul.

Glenna is survived by her husband Lynn Craig Wright, son, Craig Randall Wright, his wife, April Ann, and her grandson, Race Allan.  She is also, survived by her father, Byron, her brother, Larry Hourtienne, and his wife, Dee, and their 5 children and spouses, Lindsey (Hourtienne) and Dan Gibbons, Casey and Cathy Hourtienne, McKensay (Hourtienne) and Jeremy Heinonen, Brady and Jacqueline Hourtienne, Landry and Tristen Hourtienne, and her 17 great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Lorene Hourtienne, and her beautiful daughter, Crystal Celine Wright.
