Gladys I. Parks

Gladys I. Parks age 96, of Davison died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Visitation will be 3PM-7PM Friday at Hudson Funeral Service Inc. Otisville, with private burial at Smith Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Genesse County Humane Society. She was born in Peace Valley, Mo. May 6, 1912 the daughter of Harry and Emma Jacobs. Gladys was a member of S.E.R.A. and Royal Neighbors of America. She worked for Buick downtown Flint and retired from Oakdale in Lapeer. Surviving are a niece: Ruth Ann (Robert) Lewis, and other nieces and nephews; friends: Nancy Arbidue, Beatrice Gronlund, Mildred Walton, Millie Evans, Jim and Jeannette Hillaker, Willa Lucas Gordon and Elsie Thurlow. Preceded in death by her parents sister Ruth Pettit and brother-in-law Andrew Pettit and friend Ray Lucas. Special thank you to Thurlow's Assisted Living, Tammy and Carol.
