Gerald G. Stiff

GERALD G. STIFF, age 94 of Otisville, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Stonegate in Lapeer. His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 11AM until 8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Gerald was born on December 22, 1923 to Arthur and Olive Stiff. He married Doris Schott on December 24, 1954 . Gerald served his country in the Army during WWII and was a member of the Beagal Club and Roofers Local 149. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching wildlife, woodworking, and telling stories. He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Lukasavitz; 4 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; daughter, Karen Brahm; grandchildren: Debbie MacMillian, Donna Bingham, Dennis Green, Susan Greer, and Rodney Greer; great-granddaughter, Amber Minton; and siblings: Vera, Rolland, Ralph, Floyd, and Thelma.
