GERALD L. (Jerry) JENKINS age 68 of Hillman, MI. formerly of Otter Lake. Jerry died Friday January 11, 2008 at Northern Michigan Regional Medical Center, Petoskey. Funeral services 11 AM Tuesday January 15, 2008 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville Mr. Bernard Ruby officiating. Burial will be in Meadowview Cemetery, Davison. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 2413 South Linded Rd. Suite A Flint, MI 48532. Visitation will be Sunday 1-9 PM, Monday 10 AM – 9 PM. Jerry was born October 15, 1939 in Otter Lake to Ralph and Hazel (Belknap) Jenkins. He married Roberta Baker on Aug. 3, 1963 at Otter Lake. He retired from Lapeer County Road Commission. Jerry was a member of Otter Lake VFW and SCME Local 1071. He is survived by his wife: Roberta; 3 sons: Lonnie Jenkins, Michael Jenkins and Leslie Jenkins; Step-son: Rick Baker; grandsons: Arron, Lance and J.R.; sister: Bettie Schneider; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.
