George Gary Szikszay

George Gary Szikszay, age 75 of Otisville, died Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at his residence. The family will receive visitors from 3-7PM on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow his visitation. George was born in Flint, MI on February 1, 1952 to William and Iola Szikszay, Sr. He was a lifetime farmer at Szikszay Family Farm, partnering in a family corporation with his brother Bill. George spent most of his time farming, but when he could find an extra few minutes, he enjoyed spending his time fishing and going to his lake house on Lake Nepessing. There was even a time or two, where he quit farming for the day to go play poker! He enjoyed spending most of his free time with his wife, kids, and grandkids.

George is survived by his wife, Susan; children: Gary and Carrie (Duane); grandchildren: Brandon (Sabrina), Keegan (Kaylee), Mallory (Caleb), Dakota (Dalanee), Nicholas, and Joshua; and great grandchildren: Daxton, Arabella, and Karson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Iola.
