Genevieve M. Bryant

GENEVIEVE M. BRYANT age 89, of Otter Lake, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 12, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held Noon Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Otisville, Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating. Burial will take place in Otter Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4PM until 9PM at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. Contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. She was born in Belding, MI on October 5, 1919. She married Frank Bryant in Norfolk, VA in April 3, 1943. She was extremely proud to have been a registered nurse, graduating from St. Mary's School of Nursing, Grand Rapids in 1940. Genevieve's proudest accomplishments were her 6 children: Michael and Arlene Bryant, Tom and Rosie Bryant, Maryann Sayers, Francis DeForest Bryant III, Susan and Richard Traver, and Matthew and Debbie Bryant. 11 grandchildren: Christopher, Andrea, and Hilary Sayers; Rebecca Bryant, Amy Garbutt, Cathy and Chris Dombrowski, Kevin Bryant, Francis DeForest Bryant IV, Tony and Tucker Bryant. 5 great grandchildren: Kennedy, Patrick, Brady, Will and Bailey. She was preceded in death by her grandson Pete Sayers, son-in-law Pat Sayers in 1997 and husband Frank in 1999.
