Gary Sheffer

Gary Lee Sheffer, age 63 of Otter Lake, died on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

Gary was born on December 22, 1959 in Flint to Clair and Joan Sheffer. He was a welder with the Iron Workers Local 25 and enjoyed building things and being outdoors. He especially liked riding ATVs and swimming. Anyone that knew Gary, knew that he loved loud music, especially his neighbors.

He is survived by his wife, Barbie Lawrence; sisters: Nancy (Tom) Sheffer-Erwin and Marcy (Mark) LeMaster; nieces and nephew: Jeanne, Brandon, and Kailyn; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; ex-wife, Kelly Sheffer; best friend, Dan Boulet; and good friends, David and Kristen Atwood. He was preceded in death by his parents.
