Frederick J. Newcombe

FREDERICK J. NEWCOMBE, age 78 of Davison, died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, December 2, 2013 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Rev. S. Alan Duce officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM-8PM on Saturday, November 30, 2013 and Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Frederick was born on June 29, 1935 to Frederick and Ila (Carr) Newcombe. He retired from Flint Road Builders. He was a member of Otisville Masonic Temple 401 F&AM and the Otisville Beagle Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dogs. Surviving is his wife, Beverly; children: Shelli Newcombe, Roxanne (Karl) Paquette, Millie Swartz, and Linda (Larry) Massey; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters: Betty Moore, Sharon Hartwell, Charlotte Leach, and Karen Hartwell; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons: Frederick Newcombe and Cleo Olds Jr.; grandson: Douglas Kendell; parents and brothers.
