Frederick M. Curtis

FREDERICK M. CURTIS, age 91 of Otter Lake, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at his home. His funeral service will be 11AM Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Hudson Funeral Service, Rev. James Franklin and Rev. Clarence Moorhouse officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lapeer. Visitation will be Monday from 2-7PM at Hudson Funeral Service. Frederick was born on July 8, 1918 to Rolland and Gertrude (Loomis) Curtis. He married Helen Whipple on July 23, 1938 in Columbiaville, MI. He retired after 31 years from General Motors-Buick Motor Division in February 1980. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping, watching sports, and traveling to Florida and Wyoming. Surviving is his wife, Helen; Daughter: Patricia (Stephen) Roberts; Grandchildren: Scott (Sharon) Roberts of Indianapolis, IN., and Eric Roberts of Clawson, MI.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. The family would like thank Hometown Home Health Care and Hospice and nurses, Deanna, Shelly, and Kathy.
