Freda J. Ginder

FREDA J. GINDER, age 87 of Otter Lake, went to join her husband, Albert, for his 90th birthday on May 29, 2012. According to her wishes, there will be no public viewing and cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Richfield United Methodist Church on June 9, 2012 at 1 PM. Freda was born on July 3, 1924 in Flint, MI to her parents, Percy and Beulah Rood. She graduated from Northern High school in 1942. She married Albert Ginder in Montgomery, AL on October 5, 1942. They were married 63 years. She was involved in several organizations: Grace United Methodist Church, Otter Lake United Methodist Church, Girl Scouts, Flint Council of Churches Choir, Big Sisters, and a volunteer at Hurley Hospital for 22 yrs. She has 4 Daughters: Shondell Green, Judy Myers, Carol Ginder, and Polly (Mark) Moreno; special daughter, Kay Kremsreiter; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister Joyce Viilo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; brothers: Verne and Lyle Rood; grandson, Toby Green; and son-in-law, Larry Myers. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
