Frank July

FRANK JULY age 90 of Burton formerly of Otisville, died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday November 26, 2008 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville, Pastor Doug Klein officiating with burial in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11-3 PM and 5-8PM. Contributions may be made to the VFW Post #822 or American Cancer Society. He was born October 22, 1918 in Sterling MI. the son of Anthony and Katherine (Pluck) July. He married Margaret Wilson on January 9, 1951 in Angola, IN. Frank enjoyed gardening, fishing, and farming. He loved tinkering in the barn. He served in the Army during World War II from Aug. 5, 1941 to Jan. 3, 1945. Frank worked as a mason and built several buildings in the Otisville area including the Otisville Post Office. Surviving are 5 children Lorne (Norma) July, Diane Ivey, Rodney July, Robert (Beckie) July, and Debbie Kidd : 15 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; brothers: Ed and Alec July; 3 sisters: Sylvia Niec, Alice Saxon, and Edna Schroeder several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Margaret July on Aug.15,2005, his infant son Frankie, parents, and 3 sisters: Josephine July, Ann Young, Helen Kowalski; son-in law David Ivey.
