Francis (Snap) R. Knapp

FRANCES (SNAP) R. KNAPP age 87 of Mt. Morris died Monday May 1, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday May 5, 2006 at the Hudson Funeral Service, Inc., Otisville with Rev. Jim James officiating. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM Wednesday and Thursday. Snap was born May 2, 1918 in Davison, MI the son of Frank and Morna (Dunn) Knapp. He retired from Flint Tent and Awning. Snap was a naturalist belonging to the Conservation and Wildlife Assn. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved Michigan Sports. He is survived by daughters: Janice Knapp and friend Hank Bowers, Linda (Bob) Bearup and son Tracy (Marilyn) Bishop, 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Maxine his parents and 2 sisters: Pauline Maschino and Myrtle Ferguson
