Frances Marie Rasmussen

FRANCES MARIE RASMUSSEN age 68 of Columbiaville lost her courageous battle with ovarian cancer on Saturday August 19, 2006 at her son's residence. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday August 23, 2006 at St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Paul Schwermer officiating. A scripture service will be held 7 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday 7 PM –9 PM, Tuesday 10 AM to 9 PM at the Hudson Funeral Service, Inc. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. She was born on September 13, 1937 the daughter of James and Frances O'Brien. Frances married Irving Rasmussen in Flint on September 5, 1959. She was a life long member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and an active member of Otisville Senior Center. She loved to play bingo and travel with her friends. She is survived by her loving children: Patrick (Jennette) Rasmussen of Flint, James (Roberta) Rasmussen of Columbiaville, Marie Smith of Mt. Morris, Ann (Dale) Daggett of Davison. 8 grandchildren, 4 Great-grandchildren; Brothers: Mike (Frances Ann) O'Brien of Columbiaville, Paul (Gloria) O'Brien of Flint, Sister: Suzie Sersaw of Columbiaville; Special friend: Theresa Stinson. She was preceded in death by her husband Irving Rasmussen in 2003, her father James O'Brien, and mother Frances E. O'Brien
