Frances O'Brien

FRANCES O'BRIEN, age 80 of Columbiaville, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, October 28, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Otisville, with Rev. Fr. Francis Faraci officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 11AM–8PM at the Mumford – Hudson Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 6:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Frances was born on November 18, 1932 to Michael and Angeline Stelick. She married Michael O'Brien on March 31, 1951. Frances enjoyed reading and giving candy to her grandchildren. Her favorite candy was Necco. Surviving is her husband, Michael; daughters: Sandra (Buddie) Malaski, Gale (Don) Hetherington, Darlene Elliott, and Melissa (Johnny) Hickox; grandchildren: Linda, Brian, Serina, Steven, Joshua, Tom, Tiffany, Kimberly, and Johnny; great-grandchildren: Madison, Brendan, Kristina, Ethan, Wynter, Harley, Hayden, Alli, Ryley, Aubrey and Brian Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Cody; great-grandchild, Larz; brothers and sisters.
