Floyd Richard Rasch

FLOYD R. RASCH age 82 of Millington died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the residence of his daughter. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Hudson Funeral Service,Otisville, Rev. Herb Wheelock officiating. Burial will be in Thetford Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hudson Funeral Service, Wednesday, October 31, 2007, 1PM-8 PM, Thursday 10 AM until services. Contributions may be made to the family. He was born in Flint, MI on July 12, 1925 to Anthony and Mabel (Labean) Rasch. Floyd married Kathryn Matijega in January 1946. He retired from Genesee County Road Commission as a road grader operator. Floyd loved his cabin and outdoor activities and was a WWII Veteran and had been a member of Davison VFW. Surviving is his wife: Kathryn; son: Dan and Mary Rasch of Palmer, Alaska; daughter: Pam and Herb Wheelock of Davison; 5 grandchildren: Tracy, Richard, Matt, Derrick and Katie; 3 great grandchildren; brother: Anthony Rasch of Florida; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a son Rick; brother: Jerry; sisters: Lucille and Betty; and his parents.
