Flora (Babe) Mae Sutherby

FLORA (BABE) MAE SUTHERBY, age 84 of Otisville, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM, Friday March 15, 2013 at Mumford – Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville. Visitation will be from 11AM to 8PM Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. Flora was born on January 17, 1929 to Theodore and Edith (Winden) McComb. She enjoyed riding horses and continued to do so through her last year of life. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving cars, and playing baseball and basketball. She loved the Detroit Tigers and was a huge fan. She was also the president of the local chapter of the AFL-CIO. Surviving are her children: Marcia Callahan, Susan (Garry) Zapfe, Robin Sutphin, Robert (Kirstian) Sutherby; grandchildren: Doreen, Dale (Sara), Adam (Jen), Felicia (Anthony), Micheal, Mitchel, Kathryn (Ken), Robert (Shanna), Kristina (Eric), Lora ( Mathew), Jessica (Jeremy), Erin (Roger), Jason, Jennifer (Chad) , Jordan (Jessie); step-grandchildren: TJ, Tyler, Travis, Savannah, Katherine; great-grandchildren: Robert, Cody, Dominique, Drew, Kyle, Lance, Garrett, Tiffany, Dylan, Zack, Adam Jr., Blake, Coy, Samie, Kyle, Robert, Adam, Izabell, Daren, Cierra, Savanna, Jaycob, Jazmine, Madailien, Conner, Cayla, Candace, Cassie, Andrew, Bayleen, Noah; and brother, Merrit (Sandy) McComb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and her parents.
