Ewing W. Hill

EWING W. HILL, age 80 of Otter Lake, and Zephyrhills Florida died Saturday April 5, 2014 at his residence. His service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday April 08, 2014 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM-4PM and 6PM-8PM on Monday April 7, 2014, and from 10AM until the time of service on Tuesday April 8, 2014. Contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans, or to St Judes Childeren Hospital. Ewing was born to Herman and Inez Hill on November 15, 1933 in Smithland, Ky.  He retired from GM Flint Metal Fab in 1996 after 41 years of service. Ewing was a member of the UAW Local 659. He enjoyed horses races, dog races, hunting, fishing spending time with his grandchildren, going to the casino, and to Florida. Surviving are his children: Danny (Cheryl), Bobby (Teresa), Peggy, Patty, and James; 9 grandchildren: Donna, Leroy, Jordan, Cyrena, Zachary, Brandon, Caleb, Erika, and Emily; 3 sisters: Jean, Lois and Ann. He was preceded in death by his wife Luella; son Windol; parents; 2 brothers: Eudon, and Bill.
