EVELYN SMOKE RENDLEMAN, age 89 of Otisville, died on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her daughter's home. Her funeral service will be held at Noon on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Chuck Jacobson officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4-8PM on Friday, December 15, 2017 and on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Evelyn was born on August 29, 1928 in Millington, Michigan to Harry and Anna Mills. She attended the Richfield Church of the Nazarene and retired from LakeVille Schools after 15 years as the Superintendent's secretary. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and going to her cabin on the river. She also liked doing crossword puzzles, reading, shopping and eating out with her twin, Lynn. Evelyn is survived by her son, Dan (Linda) Smoke and daughter, Lanis (George) Swaney; grandchildren: Chelsea and Vic Ex, Nick and Nikki Smoke, Jeremy and Amy Swaney, Melissa and Todd Sirrine, Mark, David, and Donald Bolin; and great-grandchildren: Carter and Caleb Ex, Zoe Smoke, and Lydia Swaney. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Smoke; second husband, Lloyd Rendleman; daughter, Karen Smoke; sisters: Lynn, Betty June, Marie, and Dorothy; brothers: Vern, Fieldyn, Clayton, and Worth; parents; several nieces and nephews; and many other family members.
