Evelyn P. Glanton

EVELYN P. GLANTON, age 90 of Otisville, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Ascension Genesys. Her funeral service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from Noon until the time of her service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601 or to the Otisville United Methodist Church, 200 W. Main St., Otisville, MI 48463. Evelyn was born in Otisville on July 28, 1930 to Erwin and Pearl Sutherby. She was a member of the Otisville United Methodist Church, Red Feathers, PTA, Boy Scouts of America, and volunteered with the March of Dimes. She also enjoyed camping, sewing, and spending time with her family. Evelyn is survived by her sons: Steven (Linda) Glanton, Thomas (LuAnn) Glanton, David (Connie) Glanton, and Joel (Heather) Glanton; daughter-in-law, Shelley Glanton; brother, Dr. Ronald "Bob" (Dr Georgia) Sutherby; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Carl Glanton; son, Richard Glanton; and brother, Edward (Phyllis) Sutherby.
