Eula V. Miner

EULA V. MINER, age 90 of Columbiaville, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2PM Friday, October 9, 2009 at Hudson Funeral Service Inc., Rev. Kim Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-9PM at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Eula was born on August 31, 1919 to William and Adah (Beaver) Johnson. She married Edwin Miner on September 19, 1936 and they were married for 59 years. Eula enjoyed music and painting, but she especially liked taking care of her boys. She is survived by her sons: Jerald (Yoly) of Columbiaville, Roger of Columbiaville, Dennis (Marilyn) of Swartz Creek, and Richard (Sue) of Otter Lake. Grandchildren: Wade, Jeanne, Susan, Christy, David, Sally, John, Courtney, Denise, Kevin, Will, Carrie, and Justin; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; sisters: Doran Westbrook of Arkansas and Mildred Maxfield of Alma. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Garth; sister: Regina; and daughter- in-law: Janet Miner.
