ERVA JEAN (Tootie) YORTON of Clio age 74 died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday October 23, 2006 at Hudson Funeral Service with Pastor Brad Long. Burial will be in Thetford Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be at 2-9 PM Saturday, Sunday Noon to 9PM. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Tootie was born in Flushing, Michigan February 18, 1932 the daughter of Claude and Vivian (Nichols) Root. She married Duane R. Yorton in Otisville on December 3, 1949. He preceded her in death Mar. 16, 2001. She attended Community Bible Church, and was a member of Thetford Township Senior Citizens. She was a wife and a mom to her husband and children. She is survived by heer children: Darwin (Mary) Yorton, Michael (Terry) Yorton, Brenda (George) Cummer, Gregory (Tresha) Yorton; Grandchildren: Kevin Yorton, Tim Yorton, Troy Yorton, Keith Edmonds, Brianne Lodholtz, Kirk Otto, Kody Yorton; 5 great grandchildren; brother-in-law: Max Springsteen; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Duane; parents; brothers: Wayne and Jack; sisters: Shirley, Maxine and Betty.
