Ernie Barnard, Jr.

ERNEST (ERNIE) BARNARD, JR, age 71 of Otisville, died Friday, March 18, 2016 at his home. His funeral service will be held at 4PM on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home prior to the service on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 10AM-4PM. Ernie was born in Bay City, MI on February 11, 1945 to Ernest and Catherine (Burns) Barnard, Sr. He worked for UPS for 32 years before retiring. Ernie was a member of the Davison Eagles and Teamsters 332. He enjoyed camping, woodworking, playing cards, and socializing around town. Surviving is his wife, Barb; sons: Kevin (Tina) Barnard and Kip (Tara) Barnard; step-son, Chris Comstock; grandchildren: Joshua, Ashlei, Troy, Ryan and Brandon; brother, Daniel (Nancy) Barnard; sisters: Irene Leske and Vickie (Terry) Watson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister, and niece.
