Ernestine M. Decoe

ERNESTINE M. DeCOE, of Otisville age 90, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at McLaren Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 10, 2010 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. Rev. Dick Warner officiating. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-9PM. Because of Ernestine's dedication to helping the underprivileged, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Ernestine was born to Lloyd and Mildred Warner on Dec 6, 1919 in Otisville. She started her passion of teaching when she was only 18. Ernestine was also an ordained Nazarene minister and she loved to travel in her motor home. Surviving are her 5 Children: Katherine Waldvogel, Robert (Margo) DeCoe, James DeCoe, Maridel (David Freeman) Candela, Rebecca (Donald) Lee; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters: Ruth, Bernice, Gene, and Norene; brothers: Darwin and Richard; and special friend, Freddy Globig. She was preceded in death by her husbands: William and Robert; sons: Michael, William, and Johnny Bill; baby Madalyn Annalee; sister: Marion; brothers: Everett and Jimmy; and her parents. The family would like to thank Maplewoods Manor for all of their wonderful care.
