Edna M. Vires

EDNA M. VIRES, age 80 of Columbiaville, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Mumford- Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 700 S. Main St., #209, Lapeer, MI 48446. Edna was born on February 10, 1937 in Logan County, West Virginia. She was the daughter of George and Dora Davis. Edna enjoyed flowers, gardening, and birdwatching. She was also very skilled at working on cars. Edna is survived by her children: Janice (Gerald) Moss, Paul (Becky) Clark, Patty (Tommy) Motsinger, Carol (Lonnie) Swope, and Cheryl (Ted Galley) Fullerton; 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Seybert Davis, Maryanne Herzog, and Lilly Davis. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Clark; second husband, Mason Vires; parents; and three siblings.
