Douglas "Buck" V. Adkins

Douglas "Buck" V. Adkins, age 64 of Otisville, died on Monday, October 16, 2023 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Buck's life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 1-3PM at Ada's Tavern, 105 W. Main St., Otisville, MI 48463. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Forest Twp. Fireman's Association, 130 E. Main St., Otisville, MI 48463.

Buck was born in Flint on October 21, 1958 to Douglas and Helen Adkins. He loved hanging out with his friends and family, but most of all his grandkids. He enjoyed watching westerns, the game show network, and the deer out back. He also ran the local race pool. After his retirement from GM, Buck found great joy in supervising jobs that his sons were doing.

He is survived by his sons: Doug Adkins, Jr. and Eric (Britnee) Adkins; grandchildren: Case and Alee; siblings: Angie (Carl) Niles and Rick (Pam) Adkins; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
