Dorothy Lee Howell

DOROTHY LEE HOWELL age 69 of Vassar went to be with the lord Sunday April 15, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center with her husband and children at her side. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday April 19, 2007 at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-9 PM, Wednesday 1-9PM. She was born in Flint, MI on May 19, 1937 the daughter of George and Bunner Stacy. She married Lester Howell. She loved to embroider, crochet, quilt and garden. She is survived by her husband: Lester; 6 children: Floyd Edwards, Wanda (Michael) Metro, Glenda Sly, Brenda (Karl) Kruger, Michelle Molina, and Korena Thompson; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brother: James (Jimmy) and Sally Stacy; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; son: Lester; daughter: Kathryn Edwards; grandson: Floyd G. Edwards; brothers and sisters: Flossie Murray, Joyce Brenner, JoAnn Seaman, Donald Stacy, Pete Stacy, George Stacy, Rabbit Stacy. The family wishes to extend a thank you to the Hurley 4-East ICU nurses and respiratory staff for their compassion and great care.
