Doris Kathryn Price

DORIS K. PRICE, age 98 of Otisville, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Maple Wood Manor. Her funeral service will be 11AM Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Hudson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3PM-8PM and Monday from 12PM-8PM. Doris was born in Otisville, MI on January 17, 1911 to Cecil and Kate (VanWagnon) Phipps. She was a member of the Otisville United Methodist Church. She liked to knit, crochet, sew, read, and cook. She retired from Lakeville Schools after teaching 32 years. She was a member of the Retired Teacher's Association. Surviving are her three daughters: Dianne (Jim) Humphrey, Marcia Jones, and Kathy (Dan) Priest; nine Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, and three Great-Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Price; two brothers, and one sister. The family would like to express a special thank you to the caregivers at Maple Wood Manor for their loving care.
