Doris "Dode" Martin

DORIS "DODE" MARTIN, age 84 of Otisville, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc. Her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Otisville. Burial will be Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbiaville. The family will receive visitors on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 1-8PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Dode was born on September 23, 1934 to Earl and Marge Peariso. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and enjoyed going to the Forest Twp. Senior Center. She liked playing bingo, cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Reggie Ward, Mark (Autumn) Martin, and Scott Martin; grandchildren: Danielle (Dave) DeFauw, Mandi (Mark) Sylvester, Tyler (Ashley) Martin, Cody (Ashley) Martin, Daniela (Trent) Robinson, and Blake (Jessica) Ward; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Eilene) Peariso; and sister, Freda Peariso. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy; daughter, Sandy; and siblings: Jack (Nellie) Peariso, Lavern Peariso, and Charlotte Nichols. The family would like to thank the staff at Genesys for the great care and compassion.
