Donna E. Renshaw

DONNA E. RENSHAW, age 90 of Otisville, died Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Cranberry Manor in Clio. Her memorial service will be held at 12PM on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Otisville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Kay Leitelt officiating. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:30AM until the time of her service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society, LakeVille Wrestling, or St. Jude's Children Research. Donna was born on January 20, 1929 to Burdette and Marjorie Doane. She was a member of the Otisville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Otisville Historical Society, Friends of the Library, and the MEA. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and playing with her grandchildren. Donna was a caretaker for many people. She worked as as a teacher from 1950 to 1990, touching the lives of many children. She is survived by her children: Rhea (John) Tripp,  and Bethany (Paul) Nyswaner ; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Renshaw-smith; honorary daughter Cassandra Bigelow; grandchildren: Matthew (April) Renshaw, Brandon (Penny) Tripp, Autumn (Jonathan) Rogers, Wyatt Nyswaner, and Garrett Nyswaner; great-grandchildren: Emma, Olivia, Samuel, Sophia, Gabriel, Elliana, and Caitlyn; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Lt. J. G. Doane Renshaw; parents; and sister, Ardith Templeton.
