Donna L. Brookins

Donna L. Brookins, age 71 of Mount Morris, died on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will also receive visitors on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from Noon until the time of her service at the funeral home. Following her service, cremation will take place.

Donna was born in Flint on June 25, 1953. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. Donna always put others first and loved spending time with her family. She especially loved taking care of her grandchildren and spoiling them.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Ronald Brookins; son, Ernie (Janet) Brookins; grandchildren: EJ, Brayden, and Toren; siblings: Janet (Duane) Dodds, Carol (Lial) Miller, and Jim (Diane) Kittle; and special friend, Gloria (Rex) Owenby. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Pauline Kittle; and siblings: Don (Ann) Kittle and Gail (Joe) Gonyea.
