Donald W. Nash

Donald W. Nash, age 96 of Otter Lake, died on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at his home. His service will be held at 1PM on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 4-8PM and on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 11AM until the time of his service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Don was born in Gladwin on September 28, 1927 to Walter and Rubie Nash. He proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting skeet. Don was a huge Detroit Tigers fan and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids.

He is survived by his children: Martha Williams, Dorothy (Larry) Hardin, and Bruce Mathis; 33 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and sister, Darlene Klamer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Millie Nash; children: Robert Mathis, Herbert (Marcine) Mathis, Sharon Auge, and Baby Girl Nash; grandsons: David Williams, Dennis Schott, Jr., Gary Hardin, Marston Jones, and Troy Mathis.
