Donald E. Mersino

Donald E. Mersino, age 70 of Columbiaville, died on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at McLaren Lapeer. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1-5PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. Don was not a formal guy, and hated dressing up, the family would like to encourage everyone to wear their best jeans to visitation.

Don was born in Pontiac, MI on November 21, 1953 to Donald C. and Joyce Mersino. He retired from General Motors and was a retired Deputy Chief from the Otter Lake Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and NASCAR. His favorite thing to do was watching his grandson play football. He never missed a game.

Don is survived by his wife, Diane; children: Donald W. (Sarah) Mersino and Tina (Roberto) Acosta; grandson, Donald O. Mersino; siblings: Gary Mersino and Mary (Joseph) Schierlinger; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
