Donald L. Herrington Sr. of Otisville age 78 died Thursday, April 06, 2006 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Service will be1 PM Monday April 10, 2006 at the Hudson Funeral Service, Inc., Otisville with burial at Smith Hill Cemetery visitation will be Saturday, April 8 from 1pm to 9pm and Sunday, April 9 from 1pm to 9pm. He was born in Otisville, Michigan on April 8, 1927 the son of George and Ruth Herrington. Don married Joclin Henderson on November 30, 1946. He served in the US Navy from April 1945 to August 1946. He then became a truck driver for F.J. Boutell. He retired from Complete Auto Transits after 38 years. Don loved fishing, golfing, and woodworking Surviving is his wife Jackie; children: Don (Rita) Herrington, Russell (Maxine) Herrington, Michael (Janet) Herrington, Luanne Klein, and Allen (Tammy) Herrington. 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brother Sherwood Herrington; sister, Donna Wilson. Special friends: Jay Whitney and Stan Brinkman. Preceded in death by his daughter Nancy, son-in-law Joe Klein, his two sister's, one brother and his parents. Contributions may be made to the family
