Donald A. Gould

DONALD A. GOULD, age 92 of Millington, formerly of Flint, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville, Rev. Bruce Malicoat officiating. Burial will take place at Green Wood Cemetery, Marion, MI. Visitation will be Monday from 1-9 PM with a Masonic service at 7PM. Don was born January 21, 1918 to Joseph and Nina (Kipp) Gould. He married Helen Robinson on December 6, 1947 in Cadillac. Don retired from Dupont in October of 1980. He was a member of the West Forest United Methodist Church, the Millington Masonic Lodge #470 F&AM , the Millington Chapter #390 Order of the Eastern Star, and the Dupont Retirees. He enjoyed farming and hunting. He was in the Army for 4 years during WWII earning 5 Bronze Stars and a good conduct medal. Most of all, Don will be remembered for being an incredible husband, father, and an all-around good person. Surviving is his wife: Helen Gould; daughters: Karen (Stephen Wroble) Gould, Mary (Daryl) Gould-Scott, and Anne (Vincent) Thompson; Grandchildren: Cory and Andrea Halleck; step- grandchildren: Brad, Craig, Kameron, and Shannon; Sister: Marie; and brothers: Olin, Leo, and Max. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Ray, Carl, and Glen.
