DONALD J. CREGAR, age 71 of Columbiaville, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Rev. Ann Norton officiating. Visitation will be 5-8PM Sunday, August 12, 2012 and 10AM-8PM Monday, August 13, 2012. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery in South Branch, Michigan. Contributions may be made to the Davison Outreach. Donald was born on September 24,1940 to Glen and Viva Cregar. He retired from Yellow Freight System in 2003 and was a member of the Teamsters Union and Burton Eagles A.R.I.E 3814. Don honorably served his country during the vietnam war. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, Tigers baseball, Lions and Michigan football, playing cards, and spending time with his grandkids. Surviving is his son, Ray (Laurie) Cregar; grandchildren: Corey, Kameron, Mia, and Katie; great-grandchild, Tonya; sister, Kay Ware; brother, George Cregar; several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion E. Cregar; son, Bill; parents; three sisters and two brothers.
