DILLARD OWENBY of Otisville age 79 died Tuesday May 24, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Friday May 27, 2011 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. Visitation will be Thursday from Noon-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Dillard married Rosa Nix on December 26, 1951 in Georgia. Contributions may be made to the family. Dillard was born June 2, 1931 in Blairsville, GA. He retired from Buick Motor Division and worked for the Flint Journal for 12 years. Surviving are his wife: Rosa, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his children Larry, Carol, Rick, and Debbie, 5 brothers and sisters.
