Diane Kay Harvey, age 83 of Otisville, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at McLaren Hospital – Flint. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Diane was born on July 22, 1942 in Flint to William and Hazel Funsch. She graduated from Northern High School and met her husband, William “Tom” Harvey, at Walli’s Car Hop in Flint. They married on March 11, 1961 and shared 45 years of marriage together, until his passing. Diane had many career paths, including owning and operating her craft and wedding floral business called Creative Creations.
Diane enjoyed crafting, painting, making quilts for her great grandbabies, tending to her rose garden, and going on thrift shopping adventures. She especially loved reading and found great joy spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were, without question, the center of her world. She exemplified the true meaning of unconditional love.
Diane is survived by her son, Thomas (Sharon) Harvey; daughters: Lisa (Alvin) Wilson and Heidi Harvey; grandchildren: Meaghan (Jeff) Wandell, Thomas John “TJ” Harvey, Andrew (Heather) Wilson, Trevor (Ashley) Adolph, and Cody (Erica) Adolph; great grandchildren: Graham, Mackenzie, Reid, Grace, Guinevere, Emma, and Henry; brother, Rodney (Kim) Coles; sister, Joyce Greer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Harvey; father, William Funsch; mother, Hazel Coles and stepfather, Floyd Coles.
