David Grant Alward

David Grant Alward, age 58 of Otisville, died December 23, 2015 at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 1-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. David was born on June 27, 1957 to Grant and Beverly Alward. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to his kids sporting events. David was never one to put on a "monkey suit" and told his family that he wanted everyone to come to his funeral wearing jeans and camouflage. He is survived by his wife, Jan; children: Adam and Mathew; siblings: Linda (Mike) Shanks, Jimmy (Sharon) Alward, Patti (Craig) Oxley, and Mark (Laura) Alward; mom, Beverly Alward; several nieces and nephews; special friends: Matt K., Brian O., Denny L., and Tom A.; and his dog, Bailey. He was preceded in death by his father, Grant Alward.
