Daniel Seidell

DANIEL SEIDELL, age 73 of Otisville, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at McLaren-Flint. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. His memorial service will be held at a later date. Dan was born in Imlay City, MI on December 24, 1948 to James and Reba Seidell. He served his country in the U.S. Army Airborne Division during the Vietnam War, where he earned a Purple Heart. He married Catherine Worrell on August 19, 1971 and worked for and retired from Gm Truck and Bus. Dan was a member of the Otter Lake VFW and the DAV. He enjoyed woodworking, metal detecting, scuba diving, going to Thursday coffee hour with friends, and spending time up north with his family. He was his nieces and nephews favorite Uncle and was known for being a master prankster. Dan is survived by his wife, Catherine; sons: Brett (Cindy) Seidell and Skip (Beth) Seidell; granddaughter, Shawnee (Brett) Thomas; great granddaughters: Sarayne and Hattie; and siblings: Bob (Susie) Seidell, Sheila (Rick) Reynolds, Sherry (Dan) Perry and Sandy Ahola. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Larry and Lon; and his favorite mother-in-law, Julie Worrell.
