Dale A. Savage

DALE A. SAVAGE age 69, of Davison, died Wednesday April 1, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday April 6, 2009 at Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville. Pastor Eldon Busenitz will be officiating. Burial will be in Thetford Twp Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday from 10AM-2PM and from 5-9PM. Dale was born in Harrison MI. on June 12, 1939 to Forest and Frances (Woodin) Savage. He married Valarie Blossom on June 24, 1961. Dale was a member of the Hale Eagles AERIE No. 4217 FOE, the Hale area Trailblazers Snowmobile Club. He loved the outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren and his family when camping. He retired from AC Spark Plug in 1993. Surviving: is his wife Valarie; children: Glenn(Mary) Savage, Charlotte Savage, Valarie (John) Kinney; grandchildren: Devin, Amanda, Wally, Brandon, Dustin, Dakota, Olivia, Savannah, Donovan, Brennan; mother Frances Savage; brothers and sisters: Shirley Wilmot, Vern(Paulette) Savage, Jack(Wilma) Savage, Dorothy Rice, Beverly(Charlie) Skinner, Larry (Genie) Savage; brothers and sisters in-law: Russell (Marilyn) Blossom, Lorraine Siegel, Carol (Karel) Davis; Several nieces and nephews; special friends: Walter Ivey, Mike(Glenna)Jackson, Brad Angus, Barb and Don Hodge, Ann and Wes Nutt, all his special friends in the Trailblazers. He was preceded in death by his father Forest, Brother Jim, mother and Father in-law Ila Fay Blossom, special friend Howard Bennett
