Clyde Leroy Carter

Clyde Leroy Carter, Sr. of Otisville died Sunday at the age of 85. Clyde loved fishing, gardening, and hunting. Clyde moved to Michigan from Weaverville, NC. He is a GM retiree. He was a faithful attendee of Vassar Church of the Nazarene. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ardith and his daughter Patricia Keely.Clyde is survived by his sister Alice McClellan of Asheville, NC. He will be missed by his children; Dawn Briggs, Clyde (Theresa) Carter, Jr., and Brian (Kim) Carter. Clyde has 7 grandchildren; Chantel (Joe) Saincome, Kris Briggs, Timothy Keely, Nick (Daniela) Carter, Camille Carter, Robert Carter and Katherine Carter. He has 3 great-grandchildren; Aiden Briggs, Carter Briggs, and Vincent Carter. Visitation will be held at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, Otisville, MI Thursday, February 14 ^th from 5 pm to 8 pm. The funeral will be held at 10 am, Friday, February 15 ^th .In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society of Flint, MI in memory of his wife
