Christina G. Baker

Christina G. Baker, age 76 of Roscommon, was a long time resident of Otter Lake. She was born December 30, 1930 to William and Eliza Oliphant in Grosse Pointe Farms. She died Saturday October 6, 2007 at Hilltop Manor Healthcare Center, Roscommon. Visitation will be at the Hudson Funeral Service, Otisville, Tuesday October 9 from 10 A.M.-2 PM and 4 – 8 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the Otter Lake Cemetery 11 A.M. Wednesday October 10, 2007 with Rev. Elsa Pressentin officiating. She leaves behind her daughters Sheila Baker and Sherrie Alger and son-in-law Don Alger; grandchildren: Christina Alger and Charles Alger; and many nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 49 years, Lyle Baker. Lyle and Chris eloped to Bowling Green, OH, where they were married on April 23, 1949. They lived their entire married life in Otter Lake. She will be missed by all of her friends and family.
