Charlotte M. Johnson

Charlotte M. Johnson, age 76 of Vassar, died on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her residence. Her funeral service will be at 4PM on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 3PM until the time of her service at the funeral home.

Charlotte was born on August 22, 1947 to Edward and Louis Brown. She was a 4-H horse leader for the Streaking Steeds, a member of the Genesee County Horse Leaders Association, and a supporter of Tuscola County 4-H. Charlotte and her husband, Harold, founded Johnson's Saddlery Repair in 1984, becoming one of Michigan's premier saddle repair shops. She enjoyed riding horses, working leather, and doing saddle restoration. Charlotte was an avid reader and loved living the farm life.

She is survived by her children: James (Roianne) Brown, Kris Johnson, Kim (Patrick) Perge, and Kevin Johnson; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Johnson;  parents; and daughter-in-law, Tina Beckrow.
