Charles Richard Pennington

CHARLES RICHARD (DICK) PENNINGTON age 63 went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2007 at Medi Lodge of Montrose. The funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday December 27, 2007 at the Hudson Funeral Service Inc. Otisville. Pastor Chad Montague will be officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday December 26, 2007 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Service. Contributions may be made to the family. Dick was born in Flint on August 25, 1944 to Burtis and Dorothy Pennington. Dick put up a courageous battle with MS for many years. Dick lived in Clio most of his life and was a commercial carpenter for many years. He also worked at Fisher Body, Buick and Commercial Wire Rope for periods of time, he was a retired union carpenter. Dick enjoyed U of M football, fishing, pheasant hunting, bowling and loved being around his children, and grandchildren. Dick leaves his daughters: Michelle (Howard) Lucia and Melissa Pennington. Son: Tim (Leanne) Pennington. Grandchildren: Zach, Hayden, Carley, and Angela Lucia, Gabrielle and Breanna Pennington and Donevyn Lokken. Mother Dorothy and stepfather Lee Baker. Sister Patricia (Stan) Isham. He was preceded in death by his father, granddaughter Maleeyah Lokken and good friend Dennis Bodette. A Big thanks to Medi Lodge Staff
