Charles Duane Carpenter

CHARLES DUANE CARPENTER, age 66 of Otisville, died Thursday, September 16, 2021 at McLaren Flint. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Smith Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the LakeVille Athletic Boosters. Chuck was born on February 24, 1955 to Leonard and Doris Carpenter. He enjoyed playing golf, and going fishing. Chuck had been a volunteer fireman for the Forest Twp. Fire Department. He also enjoyed the time he got to spend going to baseball games with his dad and grandson and watching his grandchildren play sports. He is survived by his wife, Julie; children: Maranda (Jason) Banyas and Malinda (Scott Butterworth) Carpenter; grandchildren: Tyler, Madeline, Shane and Paige; parents: Leonard and Doris; and sisters: Lynn (Gary) Gilbert and Gwen (Rick) Funseth
