Charles Robert Bowen

CHARLES R. BOWEN, age 87 of Otter Lake, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at home surrounded by his family. His memorial service will be held at 5PM on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Pastor Rodney Sanderson officiating. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 3PM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice. Charles was born on June 8, 1930 to John and Maggie Bowen. In 1950 he married Joyce Baty in Arkansas. Charles retired from Buick after 39 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and playing the guitar. Charles is survived by his children: Penny (Danny) Donofrio and Bobby (Theresa) Bowen; grandchildren: Alicia, Jennifer, Frankie, Tommy, Shirley, Wayne, Kayla, Alanna, Breanne, and Michelle; and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Bowen parents; children: Jimmy, Margaret, and Pat; and great granddaughter Brishette.
