Carolyn Jean Kurtz

CAROLYN JEAN KURTZ, age 82, of Green Valley, AZ, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017, at La Hacienda Assisted Living in Green Valley, AZ. She was born December 6, 1934 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Alexander Bain and Harriet Arlene (Hess) Beardslee. Carolyn is survived by her friend-husband, Robert Kurtz; children, Deborah (Carl) Ball, Kevin (Jolan) Kurtz, Lori (Steven) Schulz and Kathryn (Frederick) Thorsby; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Kelly (Joyce) Beardslee; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Remembrance Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the Mumford- Hudson Funeral Home in Otisville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Arthritis Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
