Carolyn Kay Breckenridge

Carolyn Kay Breckenridge, age 77 of Burton, died Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place.

Carolyn was born in Lapeer, MI on July 14, 1949 to Howard and Frances Congdon. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and slot machines, taking trips to the casino, and shopping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her son, James (Carolyn) Breckenridge, Jr.; grandchildren: Carrie King, Berry King, Heidi Ethier (Justin Lackney), Casey Breckenridge (Sinjin Huber), and Michelle (Michael) Bailey; great grandchildren: Tabbatha, Tron, Torunn, Toby, Sydnee, Kaylee, Thomas, Tamara, Ryder, Xavier, Natalee, Kora, Thomas IV, Shiloh Zoe III, Haiden, and Porter; and nieces: Stefanie Congdon and Kristina Sellek. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard and Craig Congdon.
